The UN Secretary General’s High-Level Expert Group on the Net-Zero Emissions Commitments of non-State Entities (HLEG) welcomes you to join the live launch event of the portal for written submissions from the public.
Building on the Terms of Reference and the Workplan of the group, this global public session, hosted by the United Nations Foundation, will present the portal for written inputs and address questions from interested stakeholders about the HLEG’s work and the timeline for it to develop recommendations for the UN Secretary-General.
The HLEG wants to hear from a broad audience as they prepare recommendations on stronger and clearer standards for net-zero emissions pledges by non-State entities – including businesses, investors, cities and regions.
